Jessica Blevins MacFarlane Family Shoot in Ellisville, Mississippi

We had a great shoot over the weekend with Jessica and her two children. We had a blast and did a county themed shoot and had beautiful afternoon light for most of the shoot.Her youngest Dax wanted to work the cameras for most of the shoot. It was very funny ! They had a great dynamic and were wonderful clients.

Shaun and Bobbie had a small ceremony at Big 10 lake outside of Ellisville in Jones County. The couple exited on Shaun's classic ski boat after their nuptials for a loop around the lake and then returned for a small reception. We produced a small video via static cameras and some creative crowd sourcing. We had the opportunity to shoot some great images using the lake as a backdrop. Cori needed a new headshot for the West Jones Pageant. We shot these with a very simple strobist setup and made several nice images. It was also raining cats and dogs outside so we worked with what we had with an interior setup and then some with a brick backdrop. Check out some of my images. Check out the gallery. Just Over the Rainbow Theatre | Altar Boyz| Promo Photo.

We had the pleasure of shooting the publicity photos for the upcoming Just Over the Rainbow Theatre's performance of "Altar Boyz". We took the original photo against a white backdrop and then removed the background and built the logo from scratch. We were able to achieve the look the theatre was looking for on the poster.

Austin Boutwell | Petal, Senior Photographs

Austin needed some casual shots for his senior year so we went to the lake in his neighborhood and make a few images that turned out great. The early morning light was great and the atmosphere of the dock fit the look that we wanted to achieve perfectly. I went for a simple classic look and used long glass at 2.8 for to give the images nice bokeh. The shoot was highlighted by the roar of a UH-60 Blackhawk on a training mission orbiting the lake several times at about 100 feet.

SHAUN AND BOBBIE | ELLISVILLE, MS| ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS

Shaun and Bobbie wanted several different looks to display at their wedding. Shaun owns an incredible older building in Ellisville and we took full advantage of the location. We also stopped by the beautiful lake at Jones Junior College and then shot some impromptu studio formals.An approaching thunderstorm provided an extra bit of color to the photographs.
